Vicki Charles has gained over 25 years of experience within Banking, Independent Financial Advice and Wealth Management within a St James’s Place partnership practice before returning to being an Independent Financial Adviser.

Her philosophy focuses on working closely with her clients to become the “long-term adviser” as she feels all too many times, companies seek to offer the service to too many clients, not necessarily delivering what has been promised.

She feels particularly passionate about providing all of her clients with a clear understanding of how tailored advice, can address their requirements or needs on an individual basis. Experience tells her, clients enjoy continuity with their adviser and are independent and so she feels independent advice and solutions put the clients first.

She has gained numerous qualifications and experience over the years which allows her to specialise in Investments, Pensions, Mortgages, Equity Release, Long Term Care and protecting clients from the worst happening.

Outside of work, Vicki Charles loves to enjoy laughter and fun with her young daughter, family and friends.  She also loves to ski the Italian mountains as and when she can.

Independent Financial Advisers

Financial Advisers advise clients on investments, taxes, estate planning, insurance, mortgages and retirement.  They are also known as personal financial advisors, financial planners, financial advisers, financial service advisors and investment advisers.  Financial advisers look at your personal circumstances and your financial plans and recommend products to help you meet your needs.  There are two types of financial advisers.  We are Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) and can recommend financial products spanning the whole of the market.  Basically this means our advice is unbiased and unrestricted.  Whereas Restricted Advises can only recommend products from certain providers.  In some cases, they recommend products from a single company.

The importance of financial advice.  Did you know you could be £47K better off after 10 years with Financial Advice?  Basically, customers who took financial advice saw a £31K uplift in their pension wealth.  Together with a £16K increase to other financial assets. The importance of Financial Advice – Source: What it’s worth – revisiting the value of financial advice, November 2019
